Technical Support / Tips and Tricks:: Desktop Video Cards
Can we get an update on this page? Or, at least update the KB page.
I'm updating hardware to go to quad-monitors and need to move to dual cards, this will probably be the last time I put money into this machine until a total new build. I plan on it lasting approximately another three years. I was looking at a couple of Radeon HD 6850s. Is that going to do me for what PS has to bring in the next several years?

Technical Support / Tips and Tricks:: PS Pack error
This error means the templates from the original computer are protected, or the folder on the new computer are not allowing access.

The best way for us to test is if you can email the .PSPACK where this issue occurs so we can test it out. Please send it to support@structurestudios.com and we can run some tests for you.

Technical Support / Tips and Tricks:: Level spa and No spillway showing
If the spa is at the same level as the surrounding Deck, the Deck will cover the water feature.

The solution is to draw the deck in 2 pieces, around the shapes. See the picture below for an example. You can keep the original deck, outline it, create 2 halves, then delete the original full deck.

Help Wanted or Design Services Offered:: Overwhelmed with design work? I offer a unique service that can help.
I can drastically reduce the time it takes you to design a project by inputting the house and property line into pool studio for you. This can be beneficial to you in several ways: 1) I can have the house and property line already done so when you open up your project it is ready to immediately begin designing, 2) I can make the 3-D imagery of their house look almost identical to their actual house and 3) with the time I can save you, you will be able to finish more projects in less time.

If you are interested in my service, please feel free to contact me anytime.

Joleen Verkest
951-203-9765
joleen.yardvisions@yahoo.com

Technical Support / Tips and Tricks:: Swimming pool sales Contract
How new are you to this industry? Why are you starting a construction business without the proper tools? I would recommend visiting with your attorney to have him or someone he recommends prepare your initial contract. There are more than just contracts that you will need and depending on your location, laws and regulations you will need to reference when you prepare your contracts, change orders, estimates, sub-agreements, release of liability, etc.

Dave, I agree with your recommendations. My answer to his inquiry was going to be "pool lights are located inside of the pool under the water" but your answer is much better, ; )

Ross,

I hate to be a pain to you, but ever since I updated, the software is crashing. You're aware how I have been importing my AutoCAD files in the past. I never had any problem before the update. Any clues?

Thanks,

Tommy Davis
